Tapkeshawar Temple

The ancient Tapkeshwar Shiv Temple is a place of worship for the devotees of Shiva. The temple is so named because the water droplets from a rock fall on the Shivling in the shrine.

Sahastradhara

Sahastra Dhara, translates to 'thousand fold spring' in English is an ideal picnic spot and attracts flock of visitors. The water falling from about 9 metres high looks very beautiful.

The water here possesses medicinal properties. Bathing in the sulphur spring of the water helps prevent skin diseases.

Laxman Siddh

The famous Laxman Siddh temple on Hardwar/Rishikesh route holds the fact that a sage underwent penance here.

Malsi Deer Park

The beautifully developed Malsi Deer Park is a children's mini zoological park enveloped in attractive natural surroundings. The place is thus an ideal sight-seeing cum picnic spot.

Chandrabani

Chandrabani (Gautam Kund) is a spot that was once inhabited by Maharishi Gautam, his wife and daughter Anjani. It is believed that Ganga had manifested herself on this spot.

Robber's Cave (Guchhupani)

Robber's Cave is a famed picnic spot, 8 Kms away from the City.

Santala Devi Temple

Santala Devi temple has great cultural and religious significance. Legend says, in early times as Santla Devi, along with her brother realizes inability to face the Mughal Army, discarded their weapons and began to pray. Then a light flickered and turned them both into stone images which are seen as shrine in the fort.

Tapowan

It is believed that Guru Dronacharya had done penance here.

Asan Barrage Water Sports Resort
